Who We Are

Beth Headshot_edited.jpg

Elizabeth Rohrbaugh

Founder & President

Elizabeth Rohrbaugh is a realistic painter and art educator who is best known for her watercolor and oil still life paintings.

Elizabeth began focusing primarily on her own work in 2020, painting home and pet commissions in addition to watercolor florals and landscapes. It was during the end days of the pandemic that the idea for the Women’s Art Club of Hamilton was born. A longing for an artistic like-minded community prompted Elizabeth to seek out local women artists to form the club, and she considers it one of her highest endeavors. As President, Elizabeth is responsible for the overall management of the club, website, membership, and event planning.

In addition to WACH, Elizabeth is often found leading watercolor retreats and takes great pleasure in enabling others to explore watercolor and encouraging them on their own artistic journey.

Her current work focuses on color, value, and slowing down to capture the true beauty of her subjects. Intricate brushstrokes combined with a bit of abstraction lends an organic realness to her work, while maintaining rich, creative expression. Her work can be found in private and corporate collections across the United States.
Elizabeth is Jane of all trades for the club.

Tari Sasser

Director of Communications

Tari Sasser is a native of Hamilton, Ohio, and currently resides in Liberty Township.

After working for decades in various corners of the art world and raising 6 children, she now paints in her home studio and shares her love of painting and creativity with anyone willing to listen. Currently, you can view Tari’s mixed media and abstract art at the Pendleton Art Center in downtown Cincinnati.

Tari began her long career as an artist in graphic design before returning to school at Miami University in Ohio to study fine arts, a passion of hers since childhood. From her paintings to her other artistic endeavors, Tari’s experimental approach explores and creates new, abstract representations of the world around her. Her unconventional artistic style makes a big splash against the conservative backdrop of the Cincinnati suburbs, and she hopes to inspire wonder and delight with her playful works.
Tari's role for the club will be graphic design & printed materials, managing social media/websites, and general external communications.

Jennifer Miller

Treasurer

Jennifer L. Miller received her BFA in 2000 from Miami University, Ohio.  Over the years, she’s had artwork and commissioned pieces displayed at several national galleries, most notably being included in the Artifact exhibit at The Manifest Gallery and their MEA17 publication.  She is fortunate to have her creativity encouraged by her parents, husband, and dear friends.
As a woman living with chronic pain, Jennifer uses her art to maintain a sense of well-being. Combating her mental and physical turmoil with meditative designs and exuberant surfaces inspired by the natural world. Clay was Jennifer’s first and favorite medium, with slab and coil work being the preferred construction methods. She incorporates found objects, metalwork, and wood into each reliquary sculpture, telling stories of love, loss, pain, personal journeys, and healing.
Jennifer will oversee our transactions and also facilitate the transition to having the Hamilton Community Foundation house our funds.
